Sometimes you may need to apply uniform spacing, padding, margin, background color etc. to different Spectra blocks.

Spectra Section block can be used as an outer wrapper for any other block and it can manage Padding / Margin / Border / Background for any block.

Reusable block feature form core WordPress allows to save any block as a reusable block and use it on any other page with the same settings. You can save Section block with this reusable block feature and can use it on any page.

Below are the detailed steps how section block can be saved with default values and reused on any page –

Step 1 – Create a Section block with all the default values that you need to set. You can enter values for padding, margin, different background types, border styles etc.
Step 2 – Add this Section block to reusable block and name it.
Step 3 – On another page, use this named block.
Step 4 – Convert this to \”Regular block\”, so that all the defaults will be restored and you can inner blocks for this.
Step 5 – You can add any other block inside this block so that default values set in Step 1 will be applied to inner blocks.

In this way you can maintain consistent spacing and colors for various blocks.
